| Z31 Turbo CV joint strength Just wondering if anyone has found the breaking point of the Z31 turbo cv joint. I'm able to get upgraded axles, and have twisted one chrome moly one. I'm wondering if its worth the money to get some made from 300M (super tough material), or if I do that, the CV joint itself will explode. Car is a 78 280z, welded R200, ~ 475 rwhp LS1 - 6 speed. It twisted the axle on the street, on street tires. Thanks for any input. Shaft: ![]() | |

Trader Rating: (3) Feedback Score: 3 reviews | z31's snap axle stubs before they break the cv joint/axle. Search z31performance.com/forum. I believe the user "SATAN" used to sell upgraded axle stubs and should have some kind of information on all the breaking points in his threads somewhere. |
