s13 350Z rear ebrake not working!

I dont know why I put rear ebrake as if there was a front .....So anyway I have a friend thats owns a 350Z and I backed up and hit the front of his car at a low speed and moved it a couple feet, but now his ebrake is not working. Anybody have any ideas on what is wrong?

Probably broke a spring or retainer inside the ebrake assembly.

Pull the rotor and check for broken componets

Is there any tension on the E-brake handle when pulled?
