JDM 50th anniversary deep dish wheels?!?

A couple years ago I found a picture on the internet of a j-spec z31 AE with a crazy ass set of wheels. They looked kinda like the stock AE wheels, but they had a much deeper dish than the us spec wheels. The fins were also more sleek and rounded. Does anyone know where I can find a set for my car, or atleast a picture of them for me to drool over?

at least give us a pic of the stock wheels....

some people actually cut the centers off wheels and reweld them to newer/wider barrels/rims

best bet to find them is check Z31 forums or browse Yahoo Japan auctions.

GOOD LUCK.

That anniversery edition pic has two very rare cars in it.

The first one is obvious....the Z car.

The other one is a Shelby CSX-T with the "T" standing for a limited production run made especially for Thrifty Rent-a-car in some sort of strange tribute to the relationship that spurred the Shelby GT-350H (H stood for hertz).

I rented one and ran up a rental bill of 2 grand because I just loved that quick little turbo car with the inch tall sidewalls (205/50-15).

And the wheels that spawned this thread rule.

If you are talking about my picture with the beat up car behind it, its just a normal dodge shadow. That pic was taken a few years ago and my neighbor has since sold the car.

Yeah....I'm always looking out for one to buy cheap and get excited when I see a shadow with the same aero package.

Pedestrian inside but they do perform well.....the shadow was also available with more horsepower....I think.

I'm also trying to figure out how they got a wheel with any dish to speak of onto a Z31.

I'm guessing lug area isn't 3 inches thick with a deep inset under the cap or super deep lug holes like the rest of the Z31 wheels.
