Z32 300zx convertible questions!

does the Z32 convertible has a motor to take pull the top up and down or do you have to do it manually like the s13 convertibles? i know theres switch but for some reason mine just makes a clicking sound like it is unlocking something. it doenst move the top up or down. if you guys could understand what im asking then please lmk thanks.

in other words, is it mechanical or do i have to manually make it go down?

The Z32 vert top is manual. You have to physically raise and lower the top. The clicking sound is the latch release mechanism. The middle metal cover should release when you press the button. If nothing happens look inside under the metal cover for a plastic release lever. Pull the lever towards you and the middle cover will pop up. Hope this helps.

FYI, the S13 convertible has a power hydraulic top.
