Z owners step in!

I guess I might be one of the few who are on this board that actually own a Z.
Actually I have two.

'78 Datsun 280Z RB project that will never be finished..lol

'94 300ZX TT w/ the JWT catalog

I have a 1977 280z fresh rebuilt engine 2 years ago never started up cause no money! Also, a 1981 280zx currently working on putting in new upholstery. Thinking of letting my 280z go for 300$ no TITLE! Any takers?

I'm looking out for a 240z chassis, hopefully I'll be able to pick it up when I find one.

Plan on bastardizing it with S13 suspension and my SR.

perfect road car.

Pix of the project

I got the RB in, but she's not in her permanent home yet. I'm stilling waiting on my motor mounts and GReddy intake mani. I also still have to fab up a tranny mount.

still gotta fine tune fitment with these babies! check out my GANGSTA engine mounts..100% aluminum...notice NO WELDS!! Cut from a massive sheet so there are no welds to break!

with the mounts i'm using, the engine should sit super low and wayyy back. I think I'm gonna have to make a skid plate for my oil pan...lol

an new interior idea I've been throwing around, I'm not sure if I like it just yet...I really think the "finished" product will look alot better

Aren't you worried about fatigue with aluminum mounts? I would say you could get lighter mounts with aluminum - but those look pretty beefy so it doesn't look like you are going for weight reduction. Not saying I don't appreciate custom work - I just think you could get a stronger/longer lasting mount made from steel.
