April 12th Norcal Drift Event Test Day. (Pics)

Thanks to everyone that came out and helped us with today's test day.

This was definitely not an easy event for Erik and I. Designing the course and dealing with the cones was not easy. We wanted to make sure we have a great event for May 1st. Our idea for this event was just to have an idea how a parking lot event would be. Note that we have been doing track events only at Buttonwillow.

We didn't want to take an easy shortcut and call it a day for May 1st. We want everyone to have a great time especially seat time and this is why we had a test day. I hope everyone will come and support us, we already have 6 events scheduled for Norcal.

Man...id love to join everyone. Hopefully i can get my lsd soon. finally a place for Norcal folks. Hopefully i wont be the only rookie when im out there.

Funny how I was going towards the gate like I was gonna drive on the street then that one cop speed up hella fast trying to pull me over.

Next thing you know I was just stopping at the gate just to see if the security is ok.

He played it cool afterwards and asking question see if my car was street legal.

i cut the cops off as they were trying to leave but it was our lot that day so fuck them hahahaha

I seriously thought you were going to take them all out.

the cops were hanging out checking out our event and also watching the BMX guys on their dirtbikes on the other side too.

Yeh that was pretty funny with the cops, we started running the grid in the morning and like BOOM, 4 bike cops show up. I'm on the radio to Al like "dude wtf is with the cops they cant shut us down" and we just figured whatever...we'll see what happens. Then Al acts like he's going onto the street with his car... that would have been great to get tickets at the event lol.
