Hi everyone. First of all, I'm a newbie so correct me at any chance you can get. The questions are did the s14 model come with a stock turbo and will the pieces fit on a s13 model even though they have different engines. Like can the s14's stock turbo, exhaust manifold, and etc. bolt onto the ka24e engine. Plus, if it has been done how much did this change the car, for example like horsepower gain, etc.

thanks
aric

No. You see the turbo version of the S14 was a SR20DET engine that wasn't availible in the US. If you wish to turbo your KA24E then you need to get a custom turbo manifold. They are actually fairly easy to get now. After you get that manifold you want an intercooler and the turbo. THEN you can nab the S14 turbo and slap it on the KA.

thanks for clearing that up. But where would I get a turbo manifold? Would I have to go to a shop and have someone weld one together or can I just buy one?

thanks

RevHard makes a cast manifold, and I've heard FMax sells their log-style manifold as a seperate item. The cheapest way and probably the easiest way would be to have one custom made though, especally since it will free up your choices for turbos since your flanges will be custom made.
