he has the 4 piston calipers instead of the 6 piston.

since some models of the 350z come with brembo calipers, I'm sure they design their wheels to clear those brakes calipers. Yes, the sti/evo brembos are a little bigger than the 350z but they should still clear.

Ok well I kinda hate to beat a dead thread but it seems that this is the best place to post and keep all the info in one place:

I picked up some evo front calipers and am having some brackets machined.

But what front brake lines should I use? Sti? Or evo? Or Nissan?

Also, what rear brake upgrade best compliments this setup?

It seems the op did sti rears but no ebrake solution.

Someone else commented that they preferred the z32 rears for roadracing.

What is the piston size and swept area of the sti rears vs z32 rears?
And how do the rear rotors compare between the evo and z32?

Brake lines: I use the 300zx conversion lines.

Rear brake upgrade: 300zx, r33 or r34 brembo, or sti brembo. Honestly the brembo isn't any bigger than the 300zx in the rear. The actual caliper and piston look to be about the same size from what I have seen. And sti rear will work with 300zx e-brake.

Swept area: If you use 300zx rotor with the sti brembo, then obviously would be the same. You can use evo rear rotors but then you can't use the e-brake.

Hmm it seems the hassle free solution would be:

front : evo calipers, rotors, pads and 300zx conversion lines.

Rear: 300zx rear hubs, calipers, rotors, pads, ebrake, and conversion brake lines.

make sure you find a 300zx master cylinder.

i did this but had sti caliper and pads. sti pads are thinker so i had to turn the rotors to make it fit.

your list should work fine, just need the bracket made.

I think I used the stock STi brake pads, but that makes since.. because they were used.

I guess EVO brake pads are needed, good I have a set already

So just to confirm before I order, Z32 conversion lines WILL work on STI calipers, correct? They look different to me.

Or would it be safer to just order STI SS lines instead? So many different set-ups in here.....

YES, 300zx lines will work with sti calipers. Same setup I have on my car.
