KA24DE Swap Question....

Ok after some searching I think I got it. Currently I have a KA24E and one hand I have a 1993 KA24DE Harness and a 1992 ECU OBDI and a 1995 KA24DE engine. If I understand right I can swap out my KA24E and use the 93 KA24DE harness and 93 ECU and 95 KA24DE engine together with my old tranny from the KA24E? I'm I I right?

Thanks.......

Wade through the bullshit in this thread for your answer on the transmission question:

thats a good question.

should be easy to check though.

get the harness out, go to the engine. start plugging things in and see if any plugs don't fit. early 95s are obdi and later 95s are obdii. in particular the plugs for the two sensors located on the coolant passage by the air bleeder screw may not work. the distributor plug may be different as well. i forget what else.

so yeah, go out to your garage and start plugging shit in to see if it all fits or not.

i dont know about the tranny. i *think* i remember reading that the sohc tranny does not work, but i'm not sure.
