fog light question..

just wondering if there is anyway to rewire a foglight to blink... the reason for asking is i have a kit thatg uses GP lights... but i kinda want to put yellow fogs in place of them in that space... but i want to keep the turn signal status...

If you connect the fog to the turn signal output it will blink anyway, sounds like that's your plan. Only problem is a halogen bulb isn't designed to flash on and off constantly and it will eliminate some of it's life expectantcy.

Not sure if you guys have considered this but I'm gonna toss it out there anyways. The turn signal bulb is what??...15-20 watts, while the fog light bulb is one of those H3 type bulbs that pulls about 55 watts. You might want to check the thickness of the wiring on the turn signal lines to see how thick the wire guage is. Not sure if the turn signal wires can handle all the juice the fog lights will pull when you activate the turn signals. You could burn out the wires or the turn signal switch over time. Something you might want to consider.

that's correct.
Colors are Left side: Green/blk
right side: Green/yellow.
Just wire foglights with one going to signal and the other going to the parking light wire as there should be three wires on the stock harness. It doesn't showup what the color of the parking light wire is on the fsm. So both the connections on the bulb are 12v, grounded by the stock wiring...hope that helps... use a 12v tester if you have any doubt
