i believe that sentra's that run fwd sr20det's just have to have jwt rom tune there stock sr20de ecu's...so the question that i have is can i just solder a daughter board into the sr20de's and program it to run my redtop sr20det?? I think i can find the sr20de ecu for way cheaper and much more accessible.

i just need to know if the pin outs are the same on both ecu's, i can figure it out from there..i just don't want to spend the money on the ecu and not have it be the same or have to hack into my main wiring harness.

I don't know for sure but I would imagine that the ignition output will be a problem... domestically available fwd sr's used a disributer whereas the sr20det used in rwd apps was coil on plug.
