rb25 tps

have an rb25 s1 with rb25 tps and q45 throttle body. i was moving around somethings in the bay and the white tps (signal wire) broke off. so i repaired it by using some butt connectors. i go drive it and check engine light flashes. check codes it has an code 43, tps circuit. so i probed it and get voltage (5.1) from the pink wire (power), check continuity on white and blue wires, checks out ok. but when i try to adjust it i get .24 voltage. even when moving the tps and opening and closing throttle. i tired an q45 tps (working) and same thing happens. the car drives great, hard to start when cold (also no iacv). any help would be awesome!
