TiAL Sport.com

Tial, FTW!

Your spring rate is going to depend on the vacuum at idle from your intake.

Does it rev beyond 5500 rpm or does it hit a 'fake' rev limiter by chance?

I'd check for boost/vacuum leaks and obviously attempt to pull codes on it.

BOV wise, well...don't sort your choices by cheapest first...no one with half a clue would suggest a godspeed product as being 'good'.

Your BOV is probably creeping open once you make power and staying open.
I have Greddy RS, I HIGHLY recommend. Buddy has the RZ and it's great too.
I'm sorry I don't know anything about the godspeed bovs :/

Test to see if it's the BOV. Fabricate a block off plate for the bov flange and plug the vacuum line going to the BOV. See if it pulls at 15psi to redline after that.
To fab block off plate, just go to lowes and get a piece of metal approximately the right size, drill 2 holes wherever necessary to bolt up to the flange, and use RTV to seal it. VOILA! Then you'll know if it's your BOV for sure or not.

(It doesn't do any REAL damage to run without BOV)
I know multiple people who've ran without them at 300+whp on KA-T and SR.
They're just a luxury, longevity/spool bonus.
