| Zilvia Member ![]() | e break is down and that was a duh!! and there the exact same thing its just i would have to force the hell out of it to make it fit!! (become hulk) also when my old caliper was connected, where the two e-break cables connected to the e-break handle line (on top of the drive shaft) one of the cables seemed to be more pulled than the other and the looked like this ----/=== |

| Zilvia Member ![]() | now that i put newer caliper on it seems the / has gone away (park brake up and down) but it might happen once i connect the wire to the bracket!! so right now the bracket is connected to the caliper but the wire is not connected to the bracket!! the gap is about half an inch to connect up! |

| Zilvia Member ![]() | ok try this: pull the parking brake up so you can access the adjustment nut. loosen that nut almost all the way. now release the parking brake handle. you will have more slack to attach the 2 lines to the single parking brake handle line. then double check that you can fit each cable to the calipers and mount them as they are supposed to. does this fix your problem? if it does hooray and then don't forget to readjust the parking brake handle. tighten the nut. like 6-7 clicks when you pull up the handle should engage the parking brake. |

| Zilvia Member ![]() | why did you disconnect the tie rod from the spindle? that wasn't necessary... well unless you have speedbleeders you pretty much need a second person to help you bleed the brakes. sounds like you're wasting your time, especially when you're going to have to rebleed them here shortly...why not just do it right the first time and be lazy? edit: nm just read why you disconnected the tie rods... OK learn the proper terminology of the suspension parts PLEASE, it's making it difficult to help diagnose your problems bro. |
