KA24E wierd problem

Alright, so I just swapped in a single cam because I blew my SR. This single cam hasen't been started for about a year or so. We took off all of the emissions and extra heater lines/ac lines. At first I had a really bad leaking injector, but we fixed that and now we got it to idle fine, but a shitload of smoke is pouring out of my exhaust. All white smoke, and I believe it is dumping raw fuel as well out. We let it idle for about 5 minutes and still the same amount of smoke.

At first I thought well ok hasen't been started for a long time, but the smoke and raw fuel didn't stop. The ECU is a 15 (automatic) but the car is manual. Any suggestions?

Is it a blueish white smoke? If so, it's the head gasket.

fuel being burned is black smoke...white smoke is generally coolant dripping in....oil is blueish like he said above.

i drove on a bad injector for about a few months. recently changed the injector (cyl #1) idled perfectly afterwards. white smoke came out of my exhaust for about 30 minutes. so since your engine has probably not been running for a while let it just idle.

check the coolant color see if any mixing is going on like a brownish color.

what does the smoke smell like. sweet-ish?

if the smoke smells sweet and is pure white you prob have a cracked head or possibly a mild blown head gasket. one of the to if there is blue then your deff burning oil.

The smoke doesn't smell sweet-ish thats for sure. It I guess smells like typical exhaust with no emissions I would say. Could the raw fuel be because I'm running a 255lph walbro fuel pump and a z32 fuel filter?

In the radiator it's very brown. I'm just running water no coolant. I'll try letting it idle for longer.

yeah the 255 and the filter might make a little diff but really its about how much the fuel pressure reg is letting in the fuel rail and how much your ecu is feeding the injectors and its just a stock 15 sohc ecu and I am assuming you have stock injectors so I really doubt that its just a bunch of raw fuel. What I would do if I where you is a complete flush on the rad system and then blend a 50 50 mix with water and coolant. as far as the smoke goes I would do a compression test and a cylinder leak down test. Just to see if the motor is even worth all the work.
