JDM motors

Hey guys, i know this subject has been brought up before, but it seems a bit dated. So last week i lost my redtop s13 sr20det... >.> piston ring went out. I'm trying to find a trusted place to purchase a new motor. Does anyone have recent experience or suggestions. Sorry to bring this up again.

my block does not look to be in good enough condition to replace the rings/pistons before you ask. Having trouble finding a redtop shortblock. Another question, is if i have to switch to a s13 black top or even a s14 long block, will my existing wiring work or do i need to have her re-wired?

Send a message via AIM to fliprayzin240sx
If you get an S14 long block, you can swap the heads to make it work with your ECU and wiring.

I got my S14 SR from www.bestofjdm.com. Motor was spotless and came with a 30 day warranty. And the motor was only $2200 shipped to my door. They're in Canada. Give them a call.

yes you could spend 1000 bucks or so on a new block oorrrr send it to the machine shop and build the bottom end.

also try the for sale section lots of people selling motors or part out their blocks.
