coilovers binding up. wierd, im confused

the front end of my s13 has hardly any give whatsoever. its rock solid, binding up somehow.

i have
-worldsport coilovers(quite a drop)
-radius arms have new poly greased bushings(brackets not bent)
-good balljoints
-good control arm bushings
-30mm sway bar with new bushings and endlinks

when i drive the front end has hardly any give. when i push up and down on the bumper, the play is all in the tires. when the coilovers compress, it is binded and clunks roughly. when i lower the front off of a jack, it lowers some, then binds, and drops some, then binds, and drops some. not smooth at all.

i took the coilovers apart and compressed the strut and it rebounded perfectly. definitely not blown out. all suspension components move freely. the camber plate and the joint that it rotates on is in good condition. i realize that my setup may be rough to daily drive, but something is keeping the strut from moving freely haha.
thanks!

check the bolt under the dampening adjuster. mine was loose somehow and my coilover was clunking everytime i hit the smallest bump. Just tighten it down if its loose....

they are tight. that would not cause the shole suspension to physically bind and not give.

Hows the tension rod/LCA/knuckle when you remove the coilover? Does it drop freely?

Sometimes, the tension rod mounts get twisted from hitting things, and don't let the tension rod drop... usually this manifests itself as broken tension rods, but if the rods were having trouble dropping, could look like coil bind.
