The throttle response is lightning fast , it honestly drives like stock but with a lot more power . 1st,2nd,and half way 3rd thru is useless. I do a lot of drift events and the torque is perfect anywhere in the rev range a blip of the throttle will induce oversteer.

Great graph and looks like very well done engineering... I'm impressed...

But the 5 psi graph seems a little low on power... I made 157WHP 157WTQ with a stock KA... I'm guessing the cams might be the limiting factor...

Was that KA rebuilt or what was the mileage on it?...

No it's not carb legal.

No, it's not smoggable any differently than a car with an SR or a turbo ka setup.

Engine has 190,000 on it , last weekend I started to serious blow by, so a new short block is in order along with a mildly ported head , and degree'd S13 cams.

smogable? I don't know where i live 95 and older is saftey inspection only

ive been wondering if anyone was going to do that. . . i used to hang out at unstable hybrids back in the day and jason was working on a supercharger off a 3.8L pontiac motor, but i dont think he ever got it running.

awesome idea man, glad somebody tackled it. i'd take that over a turbo any day of the week.

As far as producing these we"ll see.

At this time we're still in the prototype stage. During this first run of CNC parts were trying to finalize the design as bullet proof as possible while keeping it cost effective . Due to the intricate detail in the CNC file, the cost of the CNC running time can be rather costly. With that being said, were trying to find a more cost competitive shop because CNC time for these parts are costly, because more time in the machine = more money. When, and if, the product is finished we will then determine if it'll be cost effective enough to try producing the parts in limited quantities.

Sorry this is not the answer you probably wanted but if i quoted you a price now I'd be lying to you and myself. Right now there is just too many variables that are unknown and nothing is solid yet . We don't have finalized machining times and material prices based on volume. Pricing TBA when we know all the details. Feel free to check back in 2-3 weeks and hopefully well have more info on the details.

Fresh engine is off at the machine shop in the morning , new coated pistons and bearings , degree'd cams and a mildy ported head are in the works.

I also have a H20/meth injection setup going on along with a high / low boost controller switched inside the car.

should get me close to 300whp!
