s14 <b>more ka24de problems

i just did a ka swap cause my old motor was rubbish . so the motor will start and idle for 15 seconds , and then slowly loose rpms , if i hold the throttle at 1000 rpms or 1500 it'll be rough but will run andlike something is burning not strong just lightly.odd.

i am wondering if it is a o2 sensor, maf sensor maybe? all of these came from my old motor which they worked fine , my car is not boosted altho has a apexi avc-r interface in it from previous motors , i am wondering if there is something to do with that

i checked for vacum leaks i do not see any .. i am confuseddd

Try using starter fluid and spray anywhere where there is vaccuum lines, if there is a leak spraying the fluid will kill the car and youve found your leak. If there is not a leak, then try cleaning your MAF properly. After that try your o2 sensor like you mentioned. Try those things first and then come back with your results to see if we can help or guide you in the right direction.

the car is making a light whistle sound also , the thing is the motor was taking completely out of the other car and just dropped in mine , same year motor and everything , only thing diffrent is a couple sensors and that i had to change the throttle body for the correct sensors to match up[

hmm , yes, well some front sensors on my car aren't plugged cause there is no where to plug them in seeing as the harness was a bit diffrent.

all wires are good i believe , the only thing that is really diffrent on the motor manifold was that there was no vacume leading to a couple things so i had to plug some things up
