Lately, maybe once or twice durring a drive I can hear about 1-2 seconds worth of a knock, like a muffled machine gun in the distance. It varys from time to time. It does not knock durring any load.

Im good on oil, amsoil 5w30. Upgraded cooling/rad etc. I do have the EGR bypassed along with a 1m OHM resistor on the knock sensor harness. However it never made any audible noises before. With the solid mounts, when it knocks (again, once every drive or 2 for a second or so) you can feel the knock through the car.

Wouldnt an issue in the bottom end knock constanly? Sometimes it not a consistant knock, it could be a single knock out of sync, but enough to feel it.
