Gauge Install Help.

2 Questions of which im sure have been answered a million times just i cant find a true answer.

Boost Guage install. Just need to know what vaccum line to tie into for this. I do realize I can go to the one for the fuel pressure regulator but I am concerned about that spot. Any others?

Air:Fuel Ratio Guage. What wire do I tie into? Autometer #7175 if this helps. Narrow band.

Also what vaccum line to tie into for a boost controller.

Sorry for asking questions that have been answered a million times.

Thanks.

That narrow band does nothing.

If you must though, go do a quick search on google and search up your ECU's pinout and there's only one ECU wire that comes from the O2 sensor.

on the throttle body there is usually a capped nipple coming off, its next to where the fpr vac line runs to. that works well for the boost gauge. the boost controler need to go in the line that runs from your turbo to the wastegate and as far as that narrow band afr gauge, return and and buy a strobe light because that all its good for.

you have a fancy smanchy boost controller, but what wastegate are you running. a boost controller won't do much if you have a shitty wastegate.

can the boost controller and get an HKS wastegate with adjustable rod.

and uhh, why didn't anyone ask this yet.....what engine do you have????

if you have an SR, which it loosk like everyone is assuming, use any of the vac sources on the top of the throttle body.

i personally didn't fuck with my FPR vac source.

i have a stock SR cold pipe so i use the nipple coming off of that for my wastegate/boost controller.

i have a line going from my TB directly to my BOV

the other nipple on my TB goes directly to my gauge.

don't use the one on the bottom because that's just vacuum and is not a boost source.

Sorry guys,

Yeah S14 SR20det. I think i have it mostly figured out now. ill be trying it tomorrow morning hopefully with any luck.

The boost controller is just a turbosmart boost T. So far i am running everything stock including side mount intercooler. Front mount will be going on before the end of the summer hopefully. Is there a thread about the wastegate swap rather than boost controler add on?

Thanks Everyone.

+1 on the HKS adjustable wastegate actuator. steady boost. solid. no spikes whatsoever. adjustable up to 1bar. install is simple: look at the stock one. take it off. adjust HKS arm to bout the stock length. put it on like the old one was. boost. look at your boost gauge and adjust arm from there. oh and be sure to let everything cool down first. eh. somethin like that.

Y not use the FPR source? I have a s14 SR and I T-off the source on the IM to boost gauge and aftermarket fpr.
