engine misfiring when hot

don't have much time to explain it have to go take a final

but when i got the car in october it did this too then it went away once winter started

now today it came back

seems to only happen when 70+ degrees out or the engine is really hot

bogs a bit at idle and misfires all the way through at operating temps

i thought it was a damaged boot before because i had a bad valve cover gasket which was damaging it and causing the spark to arc early

replaced that it wasn't doing anything STUPID anymore

but now its back

possible CTS?

don't think its fuel injectors because it was running fine in the winter

thanks for any help you can give me

i can provide more info later today

s13 ka24de

i took out all the plugs they all appear fine

i looked at all the pistons 1 2 & 4 are dry but 3 looked black and wet

does that mean that cylinder 3 is the one that is misfiring?

it could also be my third ignition wire too

if that was bad i would still get the wet and black cylinder right?

No...

If you had a bad O ring it would be leaking.

If you had bad connection on one cylinder it would be dry...

If the plug wire on cyl 3 was bad, wouldn't the plug be wet?

steve told me that it makes a circuit

so the injector is probably bad

going to test it with an ohm meter

ryan you have any extra injectors laying around hahha

pretty sure third injector is out

i unplugged all of them and nothing happened when i took out the third

same thing happens when i take out the third plug nothing

and the top of the piston head is black and wet

doesn't really explain why it only started happening when it got warm out ?
