Was up guys i Can't seem to figure my car out. When i time the car and tap the cass it run like crap just bog's down really bad like something is holding it back. But when i advance the cass all the way out it dont bog??? and the car at idel goes up and down like it wants to die and does some time.. the ecu is throwing code 55... How do i figure out what 55 means... and the car has no boost leakes at all... thanks for the help

Code 55 = all good as far as the ECU is concerned.

Set your base timing to 15 deg BTDC according to the FSM and stop spinning it around like a dumbass then report back. Or better yet, pick up a FSM and start troubleshooting. It's all laid out in there as crazy as it sounds.

do you have an aftermarket intake? either way, check to make sure to wires going to your MAF sensor are plugged in right, sounds like a wiring issue. and with the timing, a dohc motor should be @ 20 degrees before TDC
