| Premium Member ![]() | sr timing cover I need the bolt size for the timing cover on a sr. Some of mine broke when i was taking them out of the block and then a few got misplaced. I searched around and couldnt find any info. |

| Premium Member ![]() | i went to napa and they dont make a m8x1.5. I picked up m8x1.25 and a 1.0 and ill find out wich one works. Its the bolts that hold the timing cover to the block. |

Incorrect on both accounts. Nissan does not use an M8x1.5 bolt anywhere, the only 1.5 thread pitch bolts are M10s for the bellhousing. Also, a 10mm head bolt would be an M6, not an M8. I've typed a bolt thread pitch/head size guide on here before a few times, research it. You'll want the 1.25 pitch, Nissan doesn't use a 1.0 pitch in an M8, only in an M6.
