| Premium Member ![]() | 2-3 hours in winter I think pending where you live.... But depends how you applied it... You are supposed to apply wet wait like 2 minutes, then put the parts together with screws to hold in place finger tight, then wait 5 minutes, then torque to spec. Then wait like an hour before oiling.... Cure time depends on temp and right now in most places its freezing, or very cold so I would wait like 2-3 hours just in case... Its also very moist outside..... and in NC snowing probably? Wait awhile

| Leaky Injector ![]() | F you SoCal and South Florida people with your comfortable winters :-P No it's about 70 right now, it was misty this morning, pretty dry now. I put the oil pan on about 3 hours ago, so hopefully I'm good. Though I did wait an hour before torquing. |

| Doctor Chips ![]() | 3 hours is probably good. I waited a day on mine just to be sure, but it's never been my daily driver. A trick I learned at work, slightly wetting RTV with water will cause the reaction to speed up and vulcanize faster. |
