Hood won't close...any suggestions

I have an aftermarket s14 hood, and it closed fine. However, last night I tried to pop the hood to adjust my headlights, but it wouldn't open. So I reached under the hood, and popped the lever, and the hood opened. Now I can't close the hood (hood won't lock). Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Maybe adjust the bolts where the hood bolts on to the hinges.

Misalignment will do that to you.

And its thats not it, check the engagement of the latch.

The car is lowered, but not slammed, and I just lowered it 3 days ago, so I don't think thats the problem. I think its the engagement, because the locking mechanism is locked in a shut position. Anyone know how to unlock that?

Thanks for the input so far, I really appreciate it!
