s13 stock vlsd not locking

ok so i have a factory nissan 5 bolt vlsd.. and recently ive noticed that it doesnt seem to lock when i go up driveways.. it lock when i kick the clutch to start a drift but the whole driveway thing is tripping me out .. i believe its a r200 vlsd

any suggestions are greatly apperciated

So you have a Nissan Factory S2000 Diff?

Why would you have an S2000 Diff? Arent they weak?


If its locked durring clutch kicks I dont see a problem or why you would need to worry.

he means r200 diff.

VLSDs don't actually lock, which is why you can't get up driveways.

also it probably has an assload of miles on it.

get a clutch type, a helical, or go faster up driveways.

i didnt put s2000 diff.. it says r200..ahh i c .. so it seems like there is nothing wrong. well thanks for the help .. im gonna look in to another type of lsd pretty soon ..

hahah man this place is getting as bad as hater tech.... i bought car with a crappy motor from some guy off this website who didnt know what the hell he was doing with this car.. but what ever better things in time..
