sr clutch fan question

I just bought a sr clutch fan here on zilvia, at least it was advertised as an sr fan. However, installed in the direction where it blows toward the radiator, it hits the power steering belt and the lower radiator hose. installed so it blows over the engine and it clears fine.

so the question is, it can't be an sr fan then can it?

i think if i installed a nut or other form of spacer on each mounting bolt i could get clearance but didnt know if that was the way to go or just try to get another fan.

thanks in advance for the help.

You could have the KA plastic piece on it, but the actual clutch fits in your motor (the KA FAN is much larger than the SR)

im not sure what you meant, there is no plastic piece. just the fan itself attached to the clutch. but the fan fits fine onto the clutch, so if the KA is larger it wouldn't fit, right?

right the fan is larger the clutch is the same as the sr but the fan is bigger and won't fit on your sr shroud if you have one

Not sure if thats what you want to do. I do have SR FAN CLUTCHES and that at least will solve your problem trying to mix and match
