Trader Rating: (1) Feedback Score: 1 reviews | car dies out at start up. when i start up my car it runs for a while (about 10 seconds) then slowly dies out. but after it warms up or after i gas it up like about 4k rpm it runs decently. one of my friends told me it was the iacv. any other suggestions? car is completely stock except for the koyo rad and exhaust but it was doing this before the exhaust. and i already cleaned the maf and everything. and the injectors and sparks plugs are fine. any help would be nice. thanks. |

| Zilvia FREAK! ![]() | i had a similar problem with my SR. i would start it, it would take more cranks than normal, then die immediately. on the second try it started right up. i had to pull the CAS (distributor in your case) and i guess i didn't line it up correctly, even though i followed a guide. i reset my ignition timing using a timing light and lead on cyl # 1 to a tad bit advanced, and now it runs fantastic and starts right up. |
