| Zilvia Member ![]() | I'm in on this, too. I'd like to run 17x8 in front and 17x9 in rear. I'd like to find out what the stock offset is, so I can determine the offset of the new wheels. I'd like to have the offset in the back just right so the wheels are even with the fenders, not recessed like they are stock. Know what I mean?

| Post Whore! ![]() | stock offset is I think +40mm or so. may be more with if you have the steelies and hubcaps. Stock size, I believe, is 15x6. I'll be putting on a pair of 15x7+5 wheels in the near future, which I hear fit fine unless you have a brake upgrade, in which case you may need a 5mm spacer depending on the brakes. This setup SHOULD clear z32 brakes, though I'm not sure why they didn't clear the guy who I bought them off's brakes. (I don't remember what his brake upgrade was-- def. not stock, nor was it z32... I think it was Project-Mu or sth like that.) Luke, if you want 17x9 to fit flush out back, I imagine you should try for something like +35 or possibly +40 to prevent you from shredding your tires on the inside of the fender.

| Zilvia FREAK! ![]() | Big brake fitment is as much about spoke design as it is about offset. Some of the stock 7 spoke alloys will clear the 26mm Z brakes. Some won't without a small spacer. The difference is in the spoke reinforcements. In general a lower offset (+30mm) will aid in clearing the brakes, though a wheel with a deep dish or thick spoke design may not. I think the number you need to know is backspacing.
