FYI, CA law is 96.5db max for our cars

...found out the hard way with SSAC dual cat-back. the exhaust failed the sound test at 116db.

now, after the cat, my car has 2.5 piping with an oem style oval muffler that passed at 93db.

...wish i would have bought a tanabe.

fabulous, only problem is on your site i only see one exhaust for an s13 turbo app, and its priced at $960. I mean i want a nice exhaust but geese. anything cheaper? in the 400 range?

I love living in California but as far as being an enthusiast but we really get the short end of the stick. California is generally the most strict state when it comes to emissions and aftermarket modifications. So 93db should be legal for the majority of states.

Unfortunately the only other exhaust that we have for the S13 is the Concept G. It is 3" piping so it would be ideal for a turbo application and you will need to change the flange where it connects to the header. The MSRP on the Concept G is $570.

The Concept G Blue will fit both the SR20DET and KA24E/DE without modifications, however it would make more power on a turbo setup.

I cant convince you on this untill you see it in person.
don't worry it's only been more than a year since he said that, he might just be still thinking on finding that exhaust he wanted...
