i was wondering what are the physical diffrences between the two models. besides the head lights and the tail lights what is diffrent?

uhh...front fenders and hood, think thats all, besides head and tails

Thats about it really.  Although my friend who owns a 97 to my 95, had a lot more going on under the hood........It just looked like there were more wires and stuff.  It was dark out, I could be wrong.  I'm still unclear on the whole OBD I and OBD II setup, so maybe he had more emission related sensors or something....  <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

Well you are right the 96-98 came with obdII and it is more for emissions crap then anything the 95 had obd I and has less wire for less emissions etc...

Minor changes to interior trim and badging, also.  Nothing of value mechanical changed between '96 and '97.

The first year of obd2 was '96 (still early style).

'95 had OBDII.  Take a look at the diagnostic port sometime, and you will see that it is OBDII.  If it was OBDI then I wouldn't have been able to hook up the OBDII code reader =)  What I have heard though is that the '95's OBDII is a little different from the rest, meaning it is a little more primitive.  Don't know exactly what that means, but it's OBDII
