Does anybody here know how to disable the rear brakes?  I want to get my car to have the brakes coming from the front only.  It seems wiered, but when the car oversteers too much, you should be able to theoretically lock up the front brakes to make the rear gain more grip and allow it to stabalize it self right? I just want to use the front only for the brake pedals and the rear with the hand brake.
any help is appreciated. thanks.

Locking up the front is going to make it understeer massively and be even harder to control than an oversteering car. If you think the car oversteers too much, maybe try removing the rear anti-roll bar or less stick tires in back or something like that.

Actually, you don't need those.  What you need to do is learn how to drive.  Rear brakes are helpful, you shouldn't get rid of them.

ever drive a car without rear brakes?
in short it blows - im with dsc - learn to drive
without rear brakes, it takes longer to stop and youll end up ruining your car or worse.  if you try to flip the swith while stearing your sure to get hurt

Got to agree this is a horrible idea that will only lead to troubles.  I have no idea why your car oversteers too much... perhaps you should read some basic principles of driving and tire adhesion (i.e., the "friction circle").

I'm assuming you must have race pads in the back and cheaper-than-OEM up front if the rears are locking up b/f the fronts.  Change your front pads - viola!  With the spec brake bias in the 240, it will not lock the rears unless you are running a bad pad set up or something is wrong w/ your brakes.

Does the car oversteer when you corner while flooring it?  If so stop giving it so much gas and learn to drive.  If it's oversteering while coasting through a corner, get an alignment or replace your craptastic tires in back.  Something else is at work if you are oversteering off throttle.  My car understeers a lot when off throttle through corners.

There are plenty of other safe ways of manipulating the handling characteristics of your car that a rear brake defeat should be off the list.  What works well in Gran Tourismo is not always safe in real life (kind of like a 1000hp skyline).

I have to agree with all the people who said to not f*ck around with them, other than a full swap, your brakes are better now than they will be after to "disable them"
-Thats the dumbest thing I have ever heard
-Get used to the way your car handles and work with that
