Jason did my tune yesterday, i drove all the way down and it was well worth the price he gave me.

I have a KA-T t3/t4, n60 MAF, 370 injectors. He re soldered my ecu because it seem some pins weren't touching, found out my timing was advanced causing detonation :O! were having problems with my apexi safc sending wrong signals to the ecu and fixed that too turns out i was running the wrong input output the whole time for my MAF! We did 3 pulls and were golden. he burned me 3 tunes just in case cus i wasn't sure of what kind of fuel pump i have, (previous owner claimed walbro 255, Its definatly not a walbro). he is a very careful person, making sure to double check and triple check everything, i've never had any experience with him through his online rom tunes side, but as a person and a tuner he is very reliable, knowledgable and focused. (i got to his house at like 9Pm LOL, and he had already tuned a bunch of cars that day.)

i would definately go back to him later on when i upgrade injectors etc. for a tune on the dyno.

For the price jason charged me, i wouldn't even be able to take that money to buy a entalpy tune. LOL. and keep in mind it included the street tuning tailored to my setup, resoldering my ecu, daughterboard install, troubleshooting my vehicle, plus 3 extra tunes.

I'd say if your local, don't hesitate to drive down to San diego for a street tune, or pay a tiny bit more and get a dyno tune if your setup is more aggresive. He's very good at what he does, also he tunes subaru's also , so all you subaru people that want a alternative to COBB xP.

And for people who can't reach him, he just got back in town like two days ago, so you should email him if you have any problems.

Hey guys I bought a chip off this guy a couple months ago and I just finished installing my KA-t set up like 3 weeks ago. The car turned on and would idle at 1000-1200 rpm and is running really rich.. The tune is for stock Maf 370cc injectors and a t25.. So I figured it would be ok to drive and as I drive down the street the car doesn't spool up and I get a check engine light. After an hour of diagnosing I take off the ECU and open it up and I see the chip doesn't want to stay connected to the board. So I've been emailing him for the past 2 weeks and have got no replys.. If anyone has had any issues like this please let me know so I can try and fix my problem thanks.. I would not buy from him again..

hmm :/ he sended me a sr20 ecu with an sr20 motherboard when i ordered a ka24de e-mance tuned ecu for 265 $ in January lol, never got it running cause it burned because i thought it was a ka24de ecu since it had no sticker, but then realized the code was of a sr20 ecu (A12 001 b57 [4]) then tranfered my motherboard to my ka24de ecu and changed cj1 to cj2 and it wouldn't rev up and engine check light was on :/ maybe a confusion but he's a good seller, hard to contact about that tho, i wanted to know if there is a way to fix this... he wanted to send me a tuned performance chip for 65$ but would this solve my problem? how would i install it?? replace it on motherboard? its not cool since i paid 265 for something that didn't worked

just trying to get help about it jason, not asking refund, but would be awesome if you could send me something to make it work since 265 is pretty much a lot of money...
thanks

ive tried to get a hold of him already...
i ordered an entire ka24de ecu with the chip i wanted..
when i got it in the mail the chip was of the board so i opened it and put it on...
now whenever i drive my car and i hit like a messed up road or a speedbump the chip comes loose... also im having really strange issues with my check engine light now (started doing this today) its on when im at idle and turns off when i hit 1500 rpm and then turns back on after that and it seems to turn on and off when i step on the gas.. ive never seen anything like this.. if anyone can help me out i would really appreciate it thanks

you guys are paying money to blow your engine! seriously go dyno tune and quit letting someone with a bad reputation guess what your setup should be. Dyno tune will be the most accurate in keeping your motor healthy and maxing out your mods hp

I have started working with ECU Tuner Guy to help with the huge mountain of backlogged emails, calls, and messages that come in every day as well as R & D, Diagnostics and sales. But my Main purpose is to take care of customers and leave more time for Jason to do his job and lower stress levels.

I am very knowledgeable and carry years of first hand experience as I have worked with him on-and off for many years and witnessed the birth of his company. I fabricated his exhaust, downpipe, installed parts configured and dialed in many of his own projects including the 700rwhp s14 street car and many, many others. If you wish to know what other projects we have done just ask.

here is my contact information if you have trouble contacting Jason, We are both busy and I am a full time mechanic and race director But I love taking care of customers and I talk a lot!

Justin@ECUtunerGuy.com
text, and I'll call back 760-315-2372 Keep in mind I have a full time day job so be patient

Breitling, please resend the emails, it may have gotten lost as Jason is changing some settings in the email software.

Glad it worked out my friend, this just goes to show you that a tune is only as good as the hardware and mechanics behind it.

glad its working buddy enjoy your ride!
