I want to clean up the engine bay when going turbo and want to remove or move most of the jungle of wires. I heard it relates to emissions?

Some of it is, yes. The FSM will tell you which ones.

Did you do anything to the EGR? If not, get an EGR plate to block it off, there should be a wire that goes to the other side of the engine bay for the AIV box thing that everyone throws out.

Do you have cruise control? you could get rid of that if you do.

S14s do not have the AIV system. A for effort, F for delivery.
