Does anyone know how to read the code from my 93 240sx with out using a code reader?

I turn the screw full clockwise and and change it to mode III. THen I read the green and red light and I look at what the code is. Turn the screw back as to how it was so you won't mess your idle. Oh. Put it on ON too.

I turned the screw but I dont remember where it was. I turned it all the way to the right. Should I put it somewhere else? How do I know where it should be?

Why didn't you mark it? Hehe. Mine's set at like this > \ then diagnostic is full clockwise so it looks like this /.
