| lower engine wiring harness ok so here is the deal. i have installed my SR into my 89 automatic 240 and i finished working on the engine harness. now i started to wire it up and notice that the SR lower engine harness will not match up with my fuse box. what modification need to be made to make this work? or am i suppose to just have that many plugs unused?? thanks alot | |

| Post Whore! ![]() | Plugs are all the same but the SOHC lower harness is slightly different due to the length of wiring. Use what you have and just modify as needed. The VSS is not required to rewire, the reverse lights are done just as any swap guide tells you (or on here, I just answered it again a few days ago) and the alternator wiring can be shortened as needed. |

| alright can anyone help me out i have the SR lower harness all wired up to the engine and pluged into the KA fuse box. there is 2 plugs that will not plug in. one has the 8 female connectors. the other one is a plug that plugs into a plug right on the positive battery terminal are these plugs needed to run the car?? | |
