battery relocation wire

i was wondering what is the proper way to hook up a wire to the existing positive? when i extend the wire to the rear of the car?

i was wondering if it would be better to use a 4gauge wire or a 2gauge wire? i seen people use both but which one would be better?
-thanks

2 gauge
lower the better.
i run 0 gauge
i think maeda's is 4? gauge..he has more trouble starting his car
mine starts right up.
could be otehr then wiring but i think dorifto_pg runs 2 gauge too and he doesnt have start up problems like maeda does.

go to a car audio shop and get 1 oht (not sure if thats the right spelling but thats how its pronounced). its a lil more expensive but its super flexible and works great! i would also run a 300 amp fuse off the posi term right off the battery so it doesnt short somewhere in the car and catch fire. then run a multi-circuit link under the hood to the starter and 3 other wires. i have a straight connection for the starter and 3 fuse connection for the others, just in case something gets a lil spunky lol. any decent car audio place should have everything you need.
