| Leaky Injector | sr stalling pleas help ok my sr keeps stalling when I come to a stop. my setup is pretty simple. red top with a fmic hks ssqv. the bov is located in the throttle body side(cold pipe). I originally just had it venting to the atmosphere I though that was why it was stalling. but I just hooked it up to recirculate between the maf and the turbo. and it still stalls when I come to a stop. I can rev the car up from a stop and it blows off and doesn't even stumble. it only happens when I try so slow down and stop. when I re start it I can rev and have it blow off and it doesn't stall. I also installed a hks eids (electronic idle stabilizer) still stalls. car runs great other than this stalling thing pleas help. |

Then you need to start adjusting the spring rate. I don't know what brand your BOV so it may help if you post it. |

| Leaky Injector | I wrote above that I have a hks ssqv. and its on the cold pipe cause its more efficient to be closer to the throttle body. I don't think that's why its stalling. and I tried adjusting the bov didn't really change much. |

I did a ghetto graphic because I was curious about why you said that it would be more efficient by being closer to the TB. Can you tell me why location B would be better than location A for the BOV? ![]() Last edited by g6civcx; 01-31-2006 at 11:42 PM.. |

| Post Whore! ![]() | The hks is actually supposed to prevent stalling when it's mounted on the hotpipe. But it's not guaranteed, there are times your car will stall, but not when slowing down like you mentioned. Try relocating it to the hotpipe...it's a better location to begin with. GL |

| Leaky Injector | when ever I am decelerating my wide band o2 says lean/air. it switches back and forth between lean and air because the injectors stop firing on the decel. but the thing is they never fire again it just shuts off. may be that can help some one figure out why its stalling. |

either tighten your current blow off valve or replace it with a different..that is what is causing your problem

| Zilvia Member ![]() | Well bump then I guess ^^ Same issue, which I didn't have on the same setup prior to swapping chassis...I'm going to try to recirculate my SSQV to see if it helps... Nismo200sx16 - has it been solved and what have you done?
