Prowess,

I've personally used the Gen 1 arms myself in my personal drift with no problems at all and it has been two years, the car is ONLY driven on the race track. When the heim joint "blew" did you contact Godspeed and ask them about it? When did it happen? I find it strange myself for that to happen after two miles unless it was installation error. But none the less I can warranty them out for you if you still have an original invoice. Let me know, thanks!

I will never buy the godspeed ruca again, the bolt snapped clear off. when i contacted godspeed they said it would take 3 weeks to even find out if they would honor a replacement. Then another week to get new ones. I cant leave my car jacked up that long, i daily it. Im just gonna bite the bullet and buy from another company.

Ill say this, the quality of the arm itself is great, welds look decent and its some think walled DOM steel tubing. I have the s14 RUCA's. The design I think could be better. Im sending mine to a machine shop and having the inside of the arm threaded and making them like the SPL's and such. There is too much play in the joint. My SPL heim joints I couldnt move with my hand. For the money they are decent. After What I plan on doing with them they will be just as good as SPL's. Ill do a write up on how I think these could greatly be improved.

Kleistc, you must have called someone wrong? We offer warranty right away on any of our arms. Please don't spread false information if you didn't contact us directly, and if you did. I apologize if you were informed incorrectly. You can send me your number and I can get you your new replacement arm out to you, thanks. - Chris

Personally it's very strange for a bolt to just "snap off" unless it was installation error or you hit something. None the less, let me know.

Not trying to bad mouth anybody, i was just a tad bit upset that day. I didnt purchase them from you, i got them direct from godspeed. As far as the "snap off". Yes i was drifting when it happened but shouldnt these be able to take more then 2 short low speed drift sessions.

I installed the toe arms gen 2 in a 240sx 89 and it wasnt bolt on, the arm side that goes into the subframe wouldnt fit, the 2 golden pieces are too big, too wide for the stock subframe space, i had to hammer the subframe and open the tabs so i could hammer the toe arm into the subframe and then bolt it.... ordered from ebay from a godspeed seller but its still the same arm.

Sorry you had a mishap, the spacers included with the arm are meant for an S14. S13 spacers are smaller. We are Godspeed Directly, contact us for any issues.
