Spring Upgrade? Why Swift Springs?

Swift springs of Japan noticed that most spring manufacturers use old silicone chrome material, which is not strong enough for automotive springs. Other manufacturers use a heat tempering method that damaged the strength of the material that inevitably require more coils, in turn, more weight.
The material was also suffering from a shortened life span. With springs like this leading the industry, Swift saw massive room for improvement.

Swift's R & D team created material, called H5S.TW, which is stronger then regular silicone chrome material. Because of this material, Swift could make the spring wire thinner, and could wind the springs with fewer coils, which greatly decreased weight while dramatically increasing available stroke.

Helper Assist Springs:
Assist springs have two functions. The first is the spring adds a progressive rate to the initial portion of the stroke. This progression can add increased comfort is used on a daily driver coilover setup that has stiff springs installed. It provides racers added softer spring rate progression. Once the assist crushes, the normal spring rate will take over.
The second job is the same as helper springs. They prevent the loss of traction during rebound, and extreme cornering.

Assist springs are designed to repeatedly be fully crushed. Every assist spring crushes to the same height. That allows drivers to change assist springs without resetting the spring perch on coilover without changing ride height.

just a suggestion guys, you should make a drag set up for the mk4 supra .cause a lot of them are getting megans and I don't think that is a good set up for drag racing. anyway they are looking for a set up between $1000-$1500 . hope this help...Omar

For daily/weekend track, the springs they come with will do the trick, i recommend swift springs for the more track oriented driver. But of course it's still always an option!
