Attempted S13 theft: Richmond CA

My neighbor told me that this morning that he noticed the following:

Silver Dodge intrepid vehicle with 3 occupants parked directly in front of my S13 scoping it out around 5am. Two hispanic or asian males with shaved heads and a female occupant.

When they noticed him looking at them, they started their car and sped away at a high rate of speed. No licence plates. It had a plain black backround plate with a dealership advertisement on it.

Can it be related to what happened the day before??

The other day, I took my car in for an alignment The service writer noticed my S13 and started asking a lot of questions about it, saying that he has a buddy with an S13 with an SR20 swap.

I filled out the service paperwork with my address and contact info (which you normally do).

Next thing you know, the next day, an attempted theft happens.

Im wondering if the guy told his buddies of an S13 and gave my address.

Be careful where you service your car. If they have racer employees, find another shop.
