Altamont is less than an hour away, why not come participate with us, and help make it a monthly thing?

www.NCDA.net to register, and for additional information

HUGE parking area, for those of you who'd just like to meet.

AND...

Racetune.net has agreed to bring out his Dynapack 3000 Chassis Dynamometer to Freedom Drift!

All makes and models are welcome to participate, preregistration via forum confirmation will reserve you a spot. Spread the word, ANYONE is welcome, if not to dyno, come hang out, check out some drifting, and what dynoing a car entails.

Price will be $55 for 3 horsepower pulls. Printouts and tuning suggestions included in the cost. (This does not include admission into Altamont Motorsports Park, or the event Freedom Drift.)

The Dynapack is attached directly to the wheel hubs, thereby overcoming all the disadvantages of tire distortion including noise, torque steer, loss of traction, tire heat and variations in tire design and wear. Direct coupling
eliminates the need to estimate torque and enables the dynamometer to make very sensitive readings over a very wide range of engine speeds. With no tire roller interface the results are more precise and are repeatable. This is the type of dyno Auto manufacturers utilize for its precision, repeatability, and accuracy. Take advantage of this RARE opportunity.

Yes, they have promised to patch up many of the key "potholes" on the skidpad.

In addition to the "corners" on the main course, which wil be filled.

Hope this helps!

Thanks again,
Don

I think a parking lot event sounds sweet, good practice and not having to worry about hitting anything and effing up your car. if you need any help with anything hit me up.

Well, SCCA has autocross practice here in Stockton at the San Joaquin Fairgrounds. I went to check out the area once, doesn't seem too bad. You could try calling them up. By the way, Stockton's 45 minutes away from Sacramento, but I thought I would tell you about this anyway.

what we really need to do is get someone to loan money ex: the city , govt, fundraising, sumthin to get a DRIFTLAND sort of facility or add a skid pad to sac raceway...for daily use....create a proposal or sumn, write a letter to city sayin we'll drift here or dangerously and wreckless on the public streets! they make skate parks, make a drift park, acres of flat concrete and a small course to practice,....thats all i want...WTF! WHOS WITH ME GODDAMMINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
