I'll post some pictures up as soon as i get them, I was not able to take some myself as I kept pretty busy today.

This is the new drivers list. This is no longer a tentative list. This is for people who are going to sign up, and once you have paid we will put an asterisk * at the end of your name.

These are the registration options:
$100 Both days (25th-26th)
$70 for one day.
When you send a payment, be sure to let us know what weekend you will be doing and if just one or two days.

I will make a time schedule and set up some rules hopefully Tuesday the 14th(the latest)

We want to get an event going here. This is in the works, but if enough ppl sign up then this event will be held Feb. 18-19th(Sat. & Sun.). This is a new venue to most of us, including me, but a few people from the 805 area will be checking out the lot this weekend and next weekend to see if it will be suitable to hold an event.

Looking to get some people together for drift days in Moorpark Ca. Very secluded spot on private property.Its the size of a football field,maybe a little bigger.Ive rented the spot out a bunch of times already.Owner jacked the price up so now need some more people to come in on the deal.It would be $100 for 2 days.Would be a weekend.Can set up whatever type of track you want as long as everyone is cool with it.If you are in So Cal and interested let me know.Alot less of a drive than Willow,weather is better,you can do what you want as long as it is safe,might be water out there to wet down.Im not making money on the deal,just want to pay for track.I would need 14 other people cause the track is $1500 for weekend.Owner does not do daily deals.Ive looked everywhere and this is the best deal around. If we lose this date,its going to be real hard to get another date because i committed to this.Now it seems people are backing out.The latest i can get this guy his money is the 15th.Please dont add your name if you are not sure.

Im game I had no idea no one had told me about it. I would only be able to the 19th I will actually be at willow on the 18th lol. This is dope and super close to me I used to go to Thunder dome if you know what I'm talking about and slide there.

Oh man!!! So this weekend was pretty intense for me. Friday night I went to a birthday party in the Pomona area. Saturday morning checked the lot out, then went to Whittier. And Sunday I worked on cars all day, and me and my buddies got one of our projects running.

Anyways, me, Alonzo and some of his buddies(RX-7 dudes) went to check out the venue and lot for the drift event. I did take a video camera but since we weren't able to drive around in the lot I didn't film anything, but we did take pictures. It's a bit shorter than balcony but probably a tad wider and definitely suitable for a drift event. The first issue is that we would need to clean up the road leading to the lot, this shouldn't be too hard.

The bigger problem is something a few of us can pitch in with and we can do in a days work. As you can see from the pictures there is grass growing through the cement cracks. So if we take some shovels and get to it, we can finish pulling all the weeds in like half a day, after that then we should probably test drive on it just becuase you can't tell 100% if it's not bumpy without driving on it.

So first we gotta smooth the road out a bit for those super low cars so they don't drag their kits on some of the dirt bumps. Second is clean up the lot where we're gonna drift. And third we need to drive on it before we all put money down and I feel it's suitable for coilovered cars to drift on.

It's a lot of work, and especially if we clean everything up and then the event doesn't go through, but I'm willing to put in work to try to get this rolling. I would rather regret wasting my time doing all this and not finding it suitable than never event trying to do anything to get another venue in SoCal.

We are trying to work on this as fast as we can. We might have to push the date back as there is some other event at HTM going on that same weekend. But I will make sure to update this as much as I can.

I'll call him tomorrow and ask about sunday.The problem will be the gate is locked.i doubt he is going to drive from studio city to open it.We might have to walk around it.Was it open when you looked.We definitely need a wheel barrel and like six flat shovels.If we cant get the gate open then you can test.You might just have to eyeball it.I know it will be fine once cleaned.The only thing this guy cares about is money and when hes getting it.Ive delt with him many times.

Cleanup is on for this Sunday.Let me know if you need the address.Bring any flat shovels or regular shovels.Flat brooms too.If anyone has old tarps,bring them.Hoping to start around 9 am.A pick up truck would be great.Let me know whos going.Any extra money beyond the 15 people needed to rent the place will be split with cleanup crew.

Nice to see a local event for VC guys. I would like to go but I already registered for an event at willow on sat and have family stuff on Sunday. Ill definitely keep an eye out for future events tho.

Let me know who wants to meet at Dennys at 8 30 right of 118 in shopping center. If we cant get wheelbarrels,the waste managent garbage pales would also work.Im bringing one.i think thats all that will fit in my Jeep.Ill be at Dennys at 8 30.ill be driving a black Jeep Grand Cherokee.For those who havnt been there yet.Its hard to find,so i suggest meeting at Dennys.
