Yes its Cancelled.First off like four guys bailed at the last minute.I was not happy about that but was gonna cover it.Then the owner at the last minute told me the last minute he wanted his money up front after agreeing several times he would be paid after. You think im happy.Im out like $200 buying tires ,having a uhaul trailor outside my house right now.Everyones getting a full refund and yes paypal fee.I'll be at balcony tomorrow if its available.Those who are going up,i could give you cash back instead of paypal.Let me know.Spread the word that its cancelled.

Im sending paypals back tomorrow.Have to add money to my account because of the $50 in fees i have to cover.If you cant recieve paypal for some reason let me know.If your heading to willow this weekend,im right off the 14.You can pick up cash.Nobodys more dissapointed than me.Spent the whole week prepping my cars and now have an empty trailor that i rented and now have to send back a shitload of paypals.

i understand man.. but before you call it cancelled, you should ask opinions/suggestions from other drivers that payed already for some recommendations / suggestions for this event will push thru.. its unfair that 4 people flakes, rest will suffer..

Next time get shit in writing. There are always shady people out there trying to take advantage of others' good intentions. Sucks for you guys though.

You should make the owner at least pay u for the time/materials spent to clean up the place. It's not ur fault he went back on his word.

Very disapointed the event got canceled but chris seems ti be a legit guy and is ready to paypal everyone back. Maybe something can be worked out later on for this kinda of event to pull througg.

I sent everyones money back. Paypal charged a fee for some and not others.Dont know why.im gonna cover the fees in a few days. I had to add Funds to my account and paypal says it takes 3-5 days unfortunately.They are coming so dont worry. As far as this event goes, problem was i wasnt dealing with owner ,but the guy who manages the place.I cant go into detail on here.He thought i was bluffing when i told him i would cancel if he did not stick to our original deal.He then agreed again he will be paid after. At 6pm Friday he then told me(after he knew all this prep work was done) that he wanted his money up front.I told him no and cancelled,I explained to Rudy why we needed to pay afterwards so you can ask him.Cant go into detail here. Late Friday,the guy messages me how sorry he is, and all this other bullshit. He screwed himself and still wants to do it now but im not putting my money up front.

^ yes please, i will volunteer hours to help clean up whatever lot is available. i very much would like to see a consistent drift scene in the 805. i live in santa barbara & there are no places to drift around here =(

Unfortunately, I doubt an event will happen at the venue that me and the guys went to clean up in Moorpark. It was a great little lot, not super big but w/e.

I havent had time to look into putting an event together lately since I've been working on developing some drift knuckles and getting ny car running again.

Hopefully ill look into the fairgrounds again once I get these issues of line sorted out. Especially since the lot at the VC Fairgrounds was used for the Jim Hall karting this last summer.
