Okay well after looking through the boards it comes to my attention that we have several members here in the LV area but no thread to call our own. All the threads I've found are from people who are visiting and want to find things to do. That's fine, but what about those of us who don't leave on Sunday? I also see a lot of "go to vegasdrift, or nv240sx, etc." and while those sites are great and everything, (I'm registered on both) why send the locals away from Zilvia? Besides the other sites don't get as much traffic as one would hope.

So here it is, for those who live here and want to get a better sense of what the local S/Z-Chassis scene holds. Use this thread to post up meets, events, BBQ's, "Spottings," and anything else you find relates to other Zilvians here in the valley.

I'll start.
For those that don't know there is a meet held every Thurs. @9pm at Aloha Kitchen on the Southwest corner of Sahara and Decatur.
I swung by last week and it was mostly Honda's when I got there around 10:45pm. Cops rolled in at the same time and swept everyone out and a group of RWD guys showed up a little after 11pm. (S13's, FC's, etc.) I'll be there again this week closer to 9pm but if you're coming you may want to park on the north end of the parking lot away from where the Honda crowd parks just in case the cops show again.

Also Spotted an S13 Hatch (I believe red chuki) boosted with an FMIC and what looked to be 17's on Charlston heading west in Summerlin earlier this evening. (shortly after sunset) Anyone on here?

btw alot of summerlin high school kids are suddenly getting mommy and daddy to buy them sr s13's from cali so thats why your seeing alot red hatches in summahlynn. theres 3 that i know in summerlin and yea vegasdrift is a great forum even though i cancelled my account lol but its all good theyre tight. the GOOD thing about vegas 240 owners is they arent cheap as fuck like everyone here. they dont half ass their cars or their talent

Spotted a red Zenki S14, dropped with white aero and Yellow rear overs heading west on Cheyenne near Tenaya today around 5:45pm or so. Yeah, I definitely know what you mean about the kids though.

I used to live in Las Vegas, Windmill & Eastern - Attended Canon Jr High and Silverado HS.

I still visit a few times a year - will be there in little over a month for SEMA... Maybe Ill drop by a meet if I have time! Crazy to see how much the neighborhoods have developed in recent years!!

no one meets anymore everyone here thinks they are too good for a good old car meet.

and the people that do go are teen agers that get into fights and they always come out and the cops now start shit with the teens
