Tonight thursday 02/26/2009 the meet starts at 930pm we have a meet, but at around 1030pm / 1045 we will be having a canyon cruise to various canyons in the near by area

all are welcome, just please be safe..

call the pd, nothing illegal about cars driving on the street . I do not race through the canyons myself, i may drive them, but not above posted speed limits. hence the word cruise. but then again perception is everything

Unfortunately...it's the kind of car we drive. 240sx's and corollas, any type of RWD japanese car is ultimately considered a drifter/racer. You have a porsche cruise through the canyons, it's simply called a spirited run.

Porsche guys every Thanksgiving have a cruise through Angeles Crest, and cops just watch them drive by. I assume because there has to be at least one lawyer in that run. We need some lawyers with 240's in our meets/cruises.

Jimbo, we ride safely. Cruise me riding speed limit. And I've ridden with steve, he drive under the posted speedlimit. If anything hell get pulled over for going to slow. And in that area, we have been there. No problems with cops, and we have mature people with us. Were al friends, ad noone needs to prove anything. I hate that people associate roadracing with canyons. Its fun to drive curvy streets.

Have fun and be safe steve, and holler at everybody in the west los for me. Wish I was there.

Also , steve is a positive influence on our car scene. So as bing cofounder of the meet, I don't wanna see anybody bashing him. Its uncalled for, and a useless post. You don't have a useful post to post in this thread, then let I be. He's not forcing you to go, nor read the thread. So all people instigating problems, this is not the thread for you.

Just because you do stupid stuff while driving you automatically assume that everyone else does stupid stuff. The last time i was pulled over was more than 6 months ago, and thats because i was speeding....

also, i've never seen your ass at the west la meet sooo...... its not like you would even show up and go on the cruise, which is why i have no idea why you posted in this thread.

I went out by my self. well i brought my girl with me. not a single passing car in the canyon roads i took, nor were there any cops, or ricers....
