Nyc to california road trip
Hello fellas. .. my girl and I are planning on a road trip from NYC to CALI... we are planning to take the northern part route and end up either LA or SAN Francisco...

1) Any meets or events that I can go to?
2) Any special spots like restaurants, bar or hotel (SAN FRANCISCO AREA) ?
3) Any place that I need to avoid? i use to live in CARSON CALI and its a rough neighborhood with all the mexican gangster throwing eggs on my car all the time...
4) WINERY or things to do in San Fran or LA?

btw.. ill be driving a s14 kouki black stock KA with only suspension done

Id like to do the northern cali drive too.
My only advice I can offer is....make sure you can stand your girl for that long lol

just an update... We are at minesota right now driving to south Dakota then salt lake city then San Francisco.. So we did 1129 miles... NJ, pa, Ohio, indianA, Chicago, wisconsin, minesota........ I need a warm welcome to people in San francisco... Any ideas the meets are? Also index some hookup on oilchange, coolant flush and possibly front alignment.. Thanks guys

Dang, and i just came back from my roadtrip, laughlin-vegas-sacramento-san.frisco-coast. and i thought that was long haha
All the seafood was pretty expensive at the pier in sanfran. but i guess since you can afford that kind of gas.. it shouldn't be a problem :P
I remember seeing some winery places along the coast on hwy 1 i believe..

im here at WYOMING.... the ride was horrible because it was raining and it was dark so kind scary hearing my rear skipping so we checked in HOTEL HERE.. ITS NOW 5AM SATURDAY AND ON OUR WAY TO San Francisco.. see yall there tonight or tmrw!!!

let me guess you checked in @ Holiday Inn on Van Ness lol.......to get to Broadway u can Go North on Van ness make a right on Broadway and go thru the tunnel and you will pass China Town then see all the bars and clubs

Welcome to California. Since you mentioned wineries, I recommend driving up to Napa for some wine tasting. They have a lot to offer up there. Other than that, enjoy the city.

recommend....HWY 1 north of SF....Benziger Winery in Kenwood CA...Good luck with the drive...Look for SFFD Ambulance 64 while in SFC and honk away....!!!
