I think that the tech days and local bbqs are a good thing, not because we are mad at the Wed. night meet but because it's good to have a place to meet and work on our cars and get technical help or a hand if we need it. These days are not meant to be a replacement for our Wed. night meet but to add an extra dimension to the 818 club.
Not all of us can make the late night cruises. If we also set up cruises on the weekend maybe more of use can join in. We need to do more stuff together than just a few hours once a week.
We have a successful meet because we did invite others to join us, but lately we just stand around in small separate groups and wait for the others to come and talk to us instead of everybody joining in together. We do not need a bunch of mini meets but one meet that includes everyone so that we can get new ideas about what we can do with these cars. So lets all quit bitchin and make this meet the best we can make it.
If we say we are going to meet at Round Table lets show up and split some beer and food. Too many times we say we are going to meet and nobody shows up. Lets show Round Table the we can be a good source of income for them on Wed. night. I know that the people at Ralphs like us being there because they know that their customers and their cars are safe as long as we are there. So that says alot about the intergrity of our meet, so lets keep it that way and be the best 240sx meet. All that being said I will see everyone Wed. night

As for the guys who meet up anywhere (Round table, KBBQ, Krua Thai etc.) before the meet, if it's cool for you guys to meet up earlier so you guys get to the meet on time and hang out with the rest of us....so for the new guys who show up for the meet they can be like "oh wow! theres a lot of people!" blah blah blah...and they will like it and will continue to show up and invite more people. ya digg?!

Damn, it was all dead on this forum until this mofo (FrankDukes, Noc Su Cow) started to stir things up a bit, now there are old faces back on this 818 thread. =)

If anyone is down to hit up the beach or go pier fishing in Malibu, I am always free on Saturdays! I would like to roll out to the beach with the 818ters and have a nice 240sx cruise on PCH and go fishing which is one of my favorite past time. I will coordinate the 818 meets ups for weekends. Let's have more get-togther on the weekends work on our cars, grill food, and hang out in other cities and do group activities. I guess there a few of use 818ters that are addicted and we want more and so I will offer more get togethers on the weekends and we will use that time to fix and tune our cars.

It's summer, let's enjoy it and just change things up. For those outgoing and adventurous people who like the wilderness, just holler at me and we can do activities!

We just have to glue these together with JB weld and it will be a very nice 4.8 liter.
Same blue color as MehSilvia, but less Orange peel. Hehehehe.

Oh no the pulley's are corroded and caused the belts to take a dump. Both my Alternator and Clutch Fan pully.
