I say start hitting the track to get some of that nostalgic feeling back, because it seems that's what you're really missing. Put the money you've put into the car to use on the track for some good shits and giggles.

Hey any of you 818 bishes got a pair of 5-lug wheels with useable tires that I could borrow for a week or so? I've gotta take my stances off to ship them and my giant 245/45/17's will absolutely not clear my old strut and spring set-up. The koni's are not quite done yet so I need something to roll on for a week or so.

EDIT: Oh ya, if you've got some hit me up (818)916-3025.

Jimmy took my set of 3000GT wheels with tires, but I still got some old 5 luggers laying around in back if you wanna borrow them (and if they fit).
I got a single 16 inch meshie, some old 16 inch MK3 Supra wheels, and some 15 inch Toyota (FWD) wheels with good tires. Hit me up with an ideal size and I'll check to see if I have any laying around.

Yup, track time is what you really need.
I sometimes feel bored with 240's and after the whole tokyo drift thing, I felt like getting outta the whole "scene" too.
But track time gets me all excited and giggly again.

Okay, on a serious note, The crate engine has finally arrived.
We're so frustrated with the whole engine rebuild so Louis coughed up a couple of grand and got the entire V6 kit.

Engine bay is prepped and we ran the harness today, as well as the custom x-member and motor mounts.

^^ We are still going to Rebuild the KA's as planned but in the mean time, we will put it aside since it is going to take some time.

We have everything disassembled and going to get the block and head heat tanked soon.

I've had a very productive weekend. If all goes to plan I'll finally have a garage to myself soon. Need to finish my car, but I'm not as worried as I used to be about it.

Al, soon as I have time brother. Juggling so many things right now that I want to be able to come by and just do everything at a good relaxed pace so that we can enjoy some beers together.

Rich and Randy, where you guys at? I hardly ever see Randy online or even at the meets (when I do show up lol). Hope you guys are doing well.

The kit came with everything. The guy we bought it from was a co-worker of Louis' and he had it in his 240. The car ran great and he gave us pretty much everything for the swap that was on his car.

1. Engine + Tranny
2. Custom x member
3. Custom Tranny Member
4. Wiring is already done for 240sx.
5. Stock VQ ECU
6. All the brackets
7. Driveshaft 1 piece alum.
8. Clutch system kit.
9. Ignition kit
10. And others.

This is when he pulled the engine.

nah i took it to a shop. it was more convenient for me to just drop it off. my dad always gets mad at me with the mess i leave lol
